Sheila Devitt

Sheila is an alumnus of the Santa Fe Performing Arts Company, which introduced her to the Beau Jest Mime Troupe. She went on to study theatre at the University of New Mexico, where she worked with Augusto Boal and his Theatre of the Oppressed. She travelled to the United Kingdom to study at the University of Hull, joining Z Theatre Company and touring the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. On returning to New Mexico, she served as Vice-President on the Board of Directors of the Vortex Theatre, Albuquerque. Sheila was overjoyed to attend the Stanislavsky Summer School at American Repertory Theatre and train with the faculty of the Moscow Art Theatre School. She is happy to be working with Lunatique Fantastique, which has given her new appreciation for foam peanuts.
